Every year the homeroom classes at Hyde Middle School have a pumpkin decorating contest. Mr. Nolte’s homeroom class made a fire breathing pumpkin using acetylene gas. They covered the pumpkin in metal and riveted it together. This pumpkin was trully a team effert. Students were involved in the whole process. They picked out the music, made the backdrop, made a beware of pumpkin sign, turned the flame on, and helped to keep everyone safe. Our pumpkin won the best overall. Great job! You guys Rock!
Students will finish up plans for tech deck skateboards and submit them to Mr. Nolte. Once approved, students can get their piece of aluminum and begin working on them!
]]>Students will begin their 3-D wire projects. Start by finding a photograph of something you are intereted in. You will then draw a picture of the photograph identifing the lines in the photograph. This will help you when you begin making it out of wire.
